Zeborah Loray: Fantasy Film Fun

Zeborah Loray: Fantasy Film Fun
I've been playing with what is a new product to me. Fantasy Film. Cool stuff! Please scroll down for lots of examples and links to directions.

Zeborah Loray: Fantasy Film Fun
Patty Dennis, one of my favorite artists, made a geo deco thingy that looked like a bug. I decided I had to give it a try. I suspect I'll be doing more versions of these. ;)

Faux Carnival Glass using OPALS © embossing enamels and Midnight Art Glass or Ranger Memory Glass and Fantasy Film .I love this technique on Midnight Art Glass.
The shard shapes are perfect for pendants or embellishments on cards, boxes or even scrapbook layouts. The technique is also very effective on the Ranger Memory Glass. Using the Memory Frames gives you a quick and easy finished pendant.

Fantasy Film layered in Krafty Lady mould under clear (Franklin) Opals

Zeborah Loray: Fantasy Film Fun
Fantasy Film can be layered onto a teflon craft sheet or baking parchment, topped with another teflon craft sheet or parchment paper and ironed for just a few seconds to create a flexible or multicolored "paper".
Detailed Directions here...

It is fun to layer it on other pieces using clear glues or gel mediums. It can be topped with othe clear or translucent mediums for some stunning effects.

This piece includes some of the Fantasy Film over a base of Brilliance ink colors and clear (Franklin) Opals.. I also added some Foil Melts. These are fun to play with too. A glimering metallic foil over a base of heat activated glue.

Check out more of Zeborah's creations on her blog and the After Midnight Art Stamps blog.
