Drill Team Boot Project

Supply List
Blank Board Boot
Alphabet Rubons- Heidi Swapp, Center of Attention, Brown
Polka Dot Mask – Heidi Swapp
Ribbon – Strano (16”)
Chipboard Letter “d” – Heidi Swapp
String or floss-brown or pink
Glitter – Vintage Glass Glitter, Silver, www.artglitter.com
Adhesive –Designer Dries Clear – Artglitter.com
Acrylic paint – pink
Distress Ink – Ranger, Scattered Straw

Instructions

1. Apply small amount of adhesive to front side of the chipboard letter (use
Q-tips), cover in glitter and shake off excess (use a tool to extract out of
glitter tray. Allow to dry.
2. Using a sponge, rub pink acrylic paint covering the front, back and
spine of the board book.
3. Place the Heidi Swapp dot mask over the front of the book, making sure it
is flat and adhered down to the surface.
4. Using the Distress Ink and a foam applicator tool, gently rub the ink
over the dots of the mask and peel up when finished.
5. Apply alphabet rub-ons for “drill team”.
6. Tie small string onto top of chipboard letter. With ends together tie
ends so that it creates a 1- 2” loop.
7. Slip Ribbon through predrilled hole. Slide chipboard string loop onto
front ribbon. Tie ribbon in a bow.
